Walter Patrick Wachowicz, 66, passed away, Friday, January 22, 2010. He was born October 16, 1943. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter J. Wachowicz.

Survivors include his mother, Marie Wachowicz of Davie, Fl, his wife, Dorothy Patterson Wachowicz, two sons, John Wachowicz and wife Angela , Stanley Wachowicz and wife Candida all of Nashville, one daughter, Theresa Winstead and husband Jerry of Castalia, seven step-children, Bobby Jouhnson , Dorothy Sykes, Rae Barnes and husband Ricky, Tony Johnson and wife Kathy, Sheila Lowe and husband Billy, Bessie Short and husband Claude, Mary Layton and husband Winston, two sisters, Patty Stern and husband Terry of Davie, Fl, Terry Tyler and husband Jerry of Pembroke Pines, Fl, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numorous step-grandchildren and step- great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was Tuesday,  January 26, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Ricky Barnes officiating. Visitation followed after the service.
