LITTLETON - James “Mingo” Minggia, 64, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 27 at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Gilliam Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Rev. St. Clair Nicholson officiating.

Surviving: wife, Barbara Minggia of the home; daughters, Yvette Minggia of Staten Island, N.Y. and Junita Minggia of Greensboro; sisters, Helen Bunch of Weldon, Betty Thornton of Virginia Beach, Va., and Delois Alston of Littleton; and a grandchild, Tevin Rhoden of Staten Island, N.Y.

Open visitation was held Saturday, Dec. 26,   from 3 - 8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
