Anna Leighn Johnson Williamson, 77, of Bailey and formerly of Nashville, died Monday, November 23, 2009.

She operated Cary Ceramics in Bailey and Cary for many years and attended Bailey Baptist Church where she sang in the choir.  Anna was a gracious and kind-hearted person who loved everyone.  

Funeral services were held on Friday, November 30 at 2 p.m. at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson, followed by a time of visiting and sharing.  Interment was at Evergreen Memorial Park. 

She is preceded in death by her late husband, Lt. Col. Wiley T. Williamson; parents, Daniel Lee and Beatrice Baker Johnson; sister, Dolores Rimmer; great-nephew, Jonathan Moore.

Survivors include her son, Ronnie Williamson, and friend, Mary Lou Albright, of Burlington; brothers, Dan L. Johnson, Jr, and wife, Mary Lib, and Bob Johnson and wife, Kate, all of Bailey; her Maltese, W.T. (the love of her life); several nieces and nephews.
