NORFOLK, VA. - Freely Silver, 86, died Monday, October 26, 2009.

Funeral services were Sunday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Walters Chapel Church Cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Lenora Lynch Silver of Norfolk, Va.; daughter, Magalene Silver-Proffitt of Warrenton; sisters, Bettie Richardson of Hollister and Sadie Pace of Chesapeake, Va.; brother, Kensie Silver of Virginia Beach, Va.; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.

Wake services were at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 5 - 6:30 p.m.
