ROCKY MOUNT - Vance Williams Edge died Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Nash Rehabilitation Center in Rocky Mount.

Visitation was Thursday, August 20, 2009 from 10 - 11 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. at Metropolitan Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Gerald presiding. Interment took place immediately following the service in Northeastern Cemetery.
