NASHVILLE - Tara Whitaker Smith, 33, died Saturday, August 8, 2009 in Afghanistan.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 21 at 1 p.m. at Union Hill Baptist Church with the Reverend Thomas E. McCullers officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.

Wake services will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville on Thursday, August 20 from 7 until 8 p.m.
