NASHVILLE - Bobby Ray Proctor, 62, passed away, Sunday, June 14, 2009. He was born February 17, 1947 in Wilson County. He was the son of the late, Sam and Lula Holder Proctor.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two brothers, James Proctor and wife Dettie Sue of Nashville, Richard Proctor and wife Marie of Elm City, three sisters, Patsy Hart and husband Billy of Elm City, Lillian Enroughty and husband Herbert of Nashville, Dare Ford and husband Britton of Elm City.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caregivers of The Nash Group Home.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 7:00PM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Carpenter officiating. Visitation will follow after the service. Committal service will be Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 10:00AM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
