Roosevelt "Spike" Richardson, 75, died Sept. 13, 2006. Funeral services were held Sept. 19 at Union Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial followed in the Tilman-Lynch cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Mae Richardson of the home; two daughters, Raseann Richardson of the home and Rhonda Richardson of Bowie, Md.; five sisters, Pattie Arrington, Ethel Whitehead and Louise Lynch, all of Nashville, Tabytha Wright of Norfolk, Va., and Margaret Mills of Spring Hope; and one brother, Alvin Richardson of Silver Spring, Md.
