ROCKY MOUNT - Wayne Jeffery Johnson Jr., age 35, passed away October 28, 2026.

He is survived by his mother, Jinny Johnson; his father, Wayne Johnson; his stepmother, Karen Johnson; his daughter, Summer Johnson (Travis); his son, Bryson Johnson; his brother-in-law, Corey Gonzales; sisters, Amanda Gonzales and Amber Johnson; nieces and nephews; grandparents Frances Peace and Henry Proctor (Bonnie); aunts and uncles; great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.

Jeffery was preceded in death by grandparents Raymond Peace, Frank Proctor, Margie Proctor, Edna Johnson, his aunt, Crystal Johnson, Kelly Parker and Louise Parker.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville with Pastor Ray Vick officiating. Visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. prior to the service.
