Joyce Bradbury Cockrell, 84, passed away October 12, 2026. She was born December 19, 1941 to the late Luther and Thelma Bradbury. She is also preceded in death by her son Dorsey Allan Cockrell; brother Eugene Bradbury (Kay); sisters-in-law Patricia Bradbury; brother-in-law AJ Scott.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dorsey "JR" Cockrell; daughter Lynn Finch (Eddie); son Steven Cockrell; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brothers James Bradbury (Edith), Carroll Bradbury, Jesse Bradbury (Marie); sister Margie Scott; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The service will follow at 11a.m.. The burial will follow the service at Forest Hill Cemetery.
