Glennie B. Jones, age 90 of Knightdale passed away on October 3, 2026.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 12 p.m. at New Morning Star Church of Christ, 225 S. Glendale Avenue Rocky Mount. Burial will follow in the Deans Cemetery in Spring Hope. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3-7 p.m. at William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the church prior to services.

Survivors include her children, Betty Jean Winchester of Bowie, MD, William Earl Jones (Gwendolyn) of Rocky Mount, Shelia Wiggins of Knightdale, Glenda Dudley (Geoffrey) of O'Fallon, Illinois, Randy Scott Jones (Rochelle) of Rocky Mount, Debbie Crudup of Knightdale, and Ronald Craig Jones (Tina) of Rocky Mount; sister, Doris Burns of Rocky Mount; one son, Lee Edward Taybron of Rocky Mount; 17 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren.
