BAILEY - Douglas Matthew Perry, 59, passed away September 5, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Reca Perry; his father, Robert Perry; his sisters, Joyce Holmes and Edith Joan Bissette; his brother, Danny Robert Perry; his sister-in-law Diane Perry; and niece, Michelle Bissette Finch.

Douglas is survived by his daughters, Jessica Perry, Anna Perry, and honorary daughter, Brittany Roman (Matt); two grandchildren; his sister, Lois Perry Jones; his aunt and uncle; brother-in-law, Woodie Bissette and his cousin.

A memorial service will be held at on September 25, 2026 at 6 p.m. at Bible Missionary Baptist Church, 2833 Tilghman Rd, Wilson. The family will receive family and friends from 5 pm- 5:45pm prior to the service.
