Diana Ward, 68, passed away August 30, 2026. She was born March 19, 1958 to the late Luther and Rosa Smith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Darlene Perry and brother-in-law David Ward.

Diana is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gary Ward; sons Brandon Lee Ward, Bryan Christopher Ward; sisters Dorothy Wingo (Frank), Deborah Sullivan (Danny), Denise Brown (Jim), Delilah Adkins (Sam), Dawn Jones (David), Darolyn Peacock (Ronnie); Bonnie Perry (Alfred); several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law Tammy W. James (Brian); Teresa Ward.

A visitation will be held at 7:00pm- 9:00pm on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chris Fowler officiating.
