Nora Lee Hutson, age 84, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026. She was born in Lumberton to the late James Addison Tyndall and the late Geneva Mears Tyndall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Ashton Scott Hutson, and by her siblings Carol Tyndall Humphrey, Faye Boone, and Charles Tyndall.

Nora is survived by her two sons, Shane Hutson and wife Diana of Nashville, TN and Brian Hutson and wife Jennifer of Nashville; her siblings, Susan Tyndall, Frank Tyndall and Billy Tyndall; six grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, c/o National Center, 7272 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75231.

A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
