BATTLEBORO - Vernon Glenn Hodges, 85, passed away July 20, 2026. He was born October 29, 1940 to the late Vernon Sidney Hodges and ArahBell Leggett Hodges. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother David Hodges.

Vernon is survived by his son Jeff Hodges (Tracy); daughter Tammy Hodges Parker (Craig); six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers Johnny and Jarvis Hodges; sisters Tink Bottoms and Dorothy Hodges; mother of his children Phyllis Stallings.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday July 23, 2026 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A visitation will follow the service.
