Benny Lawrence Morgan, 77, passed away July 13, 2026. He was born on August 1, 1948, in Nash County to the late Henry Columbus "Bunk" and Bessie Morgan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Jeanette Morgan, brothers Wilbur Morgan and Ted Morgan, and sisters Faye Cone and Emily Kelly.

He is survived by his son, Jason Morgan and wife, Jill; daughter, Allison Morgan Williams and husband, Mark; five grandchildren.

A service was held July18, 2026 in the Christian Life Center of Samaria Baptist Church. The burial followed at the church cemetery.
