Mary "Sue" Shearin Crickmore passed away on June 23, 2026. Born on April 6, 1941, in Castalia, she was the daughter of the late Walter Shearin and Katie Hamlet Shearin.

Along with her parents Sue is preceded in death by her husband George H. Crickmore, one son Jeffery H. Crickmore, one grandson Brandon A Edwards, brothers Floyd Shearin, Walter Gorham "Buddy" Shearin, Roger F. "Peanut" Shearin, Samuel G. Shearin, and James "Larry" Shearin.

Sue is Survived by her daughters Wendy Edwards (Alex) of Nashville, Angela Dalton (Brian)of Castalia and Angie Carpenter; son, David Crickmore (Kay) of Spring Hope, brother Troy L. Shearin (Ann) of S.C.; sisters Charlotte Keen (Richard) of Battleboro, Debbie Arnold (Phil) of Battleboro; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held June 26, 2026 at Cornerstone Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Stanley Brown.
