ROCKY MOUNT - Michael "Mack" Wayne Lynch, Sr., passed away on June 11, 2026 at the age of 74.

Mack was born in Halifax County on September 21, 1951, to Rossie and Louise Lynch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four brothers, three sisters and daughter-in-law, Angel Lynch.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Lynch of Rocky Mount; sons, Jeffrey Lynch of Whitakers and Michael Lynch, Jr. (Laura) of Chocowinity; daughter, Michelle Cannady of Rocky Mount; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Massenburg of Nashville; and his nieces and nephews.

Service arrangments will be announced at a later date.
