RED OAK - Abigail "Abbie" Lynn Guzman, age 16, passed away May 11, 2026. Born in Nash County on July 26, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Carmen Guzman.

Abbie is survived by her parents, Jeremy Edward Guzman and Jessica Lynn Burgess Guzman; her brother, Brayden Guzman; her, maternal grandparents, Bruce and Naomi Burgess;and many, many aunts, uncles, cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Redeemer Church, 940 N. Wesleyan Blvd., Rocky Mount with Dr. Dayton Hartman officiating. Burial will follow at Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

In true Abbie fashion, guests are encouraged to come dressed comfortably and easygoing. If you would like, feel free to embrace her love for the Western style she enjoyed so much.
