Earnest Clemon Sills, 76, of Castalia, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Earnestine D. Sills of the home; daughter Taunya Sills of Laurel, MD; son Earnest C. Sills, Jr. of East Orange, NJ; sisters, Bernice Britt of Castalia, Blanche Dowe and husband Alfred of Roanoke, VA and Pawnee Sills of New York, NY; brother, Marvin N. Sills and wife Geneva of Spring Hope.

The funeral was held on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Cedar Rock Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. The family received friends on Friday night from 7 until 8 p.m. at William Toney’s Funeral Home in Spring Hope.
