ROCKY MOUNT - Joyce Beaman Bennett, age 88, died on Friday April the 3, 2026. She was raised in Farmville on her family's farm along with her brothers and sisters.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Jessie Beaman; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Beaman, Lucille B. Gardner; and brothers, Rufus and Curtis Beaman.

She is survived by her spouse of 52 years, Robbie Bennett of Rocky Mount; stepdaughter, Kristy B. Glover of Spring Hope; and sister-in-law, Susan B. Carrington of Rocky Mount; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Pineview Cemetery, Rocky Mount.
