LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Mattie L. Harris Woods age 92, who died on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 11 a.m. from the Rocky Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Rocky Chapel Missionary Baptist Church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Deborah Woods Williams (Mark) of Louisburg; sons, William H. Woods (Jamie) of Sewaren, NJ, and Joseph E. Woods (Heather) of Burlington, NJ; sisters, Leora M. Evans of Hampton, VA, Mollie S. Crudup of Bunn, Annie M. Richardson of Smyrna, DE, Avon Harris and Minnie L. Bryant both of Louisburg; brothers, James M. Harris of Louisburg , and Alphonso Harris (Theresa) of Spring Hope; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

There will be a viewing on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home chapel in Louisburg, NC.
