Chester Wood, 80, passed away March 16, 2026. He was born September 7, 1945 to the late Orris and Ruth Wood. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter Shana Shearin; five brothers and one sister.

Chester is survived by his wife of 33 years, Rebecca Wood; son Greg Shearin; daughters Kimberly Boley (Eron), Susan DeMarco (Kevin); six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister Phyillis Stallings and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at 11a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with the service following at 12 p.m. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
