Charles Ray Barnes Sr., 68, passed away February 15, 2026. He was born October 20, 1957 to the late E.J. and Minnie Barnes. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Dustin Ray Barnes.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Margaret Brown Barnes; son Charles Ray Barnes Jr.; five grandchildren; brother Donald Barnes and wife Mary; several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.

A visitation was held February 21, 2026 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Funeral Home towards funeral expenses.
