LOUISBURG - Funeral services for John D. Wright, age 88, who died on Sunday, February 15, 2026, were held February 23, 2026 at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg with Rev. Stanley Hicks, officiating.

He is survived by his daughters, Joyce Scott and Brenda Fairley both of Raleigh; son, John C. Wright (Vickie) of Raleigh; sister, Lizzie Wright of Louisburg; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren.
