He is survived by three sisters, Delphenia H. Livingston (Clifton) of Louisburg, Geraldine Hartsfield of Louisburg, and Regina H. Joyner (Donald) of Charlotte; three brothers, LeRoy Hartsfield (Jackie) of Louisburg, , James C. Hartsfield (Velma) of Goldsboro, and Larry D. Hartsfield (Angela) of Greensboro.
