KERNERSVILLE - Sheila B. Moose, age 83, passed away January 29, 2026. She was born in Edgecombe County on June 15, 1942 to Ambler and Marshall Dixie Bryan. In addition to her parents, Sheila was preceded in death by her children, Jeffrey Thomas Turner and Sherri Lynn Turner Joyner, and step-son, Joel Moose.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Ed Moose; step-son, Eddie Moose and wife, Michelle of Kenly; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Kenneth "Buck" Joyner of Rocky Mount.

A service will be held at 1 p.m. February 4, at NorthSide Church, 1660 Beaver Pond Drive, Rocky Mount. Interment will follow at Pineview Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 12 pm.
