Joe Sephue Smith Jr., 67, of Nash County, passed away on December 26, 2025. Born on May 9, 1958, he was the son of the late Joe Sephue Smith Sr. and Ellen Tripp Felton. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Jack Felton.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sandra Smith; his daughter, Brittany Jo Smith Morris and her husband Robert; mother-in-law Edna Griffin, two brothers, Delano Smith (Laurie) and Keith Smith (Sheila); one grandchild.

Visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. December 31, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
