John Daniel Harris III, 73, of Nash County, passed away on December 11, 2025. Born on November 14, 1952, he was the son of the late John Daniel Harris Jr. and Betty Lou Griffin Bryant.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Millie Harris; his son, Rodney Harris; and one grandchild.

Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by his daughter, April Harris, and his sister, Barbara Jay.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., officiated by Rev. Daniel Moss. Burial will take place at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
