Graveside services for Nelson Lee "Flute" Cooper, age 83, formerly of Nashville, who died on Monday, November 24, 2025, will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 2 p.m. from the Oakland Cemetery in Nashville.

Nelson is survived by his children, daughters, Michele Wallace (Toussaint) and Kimberly Cooper; son, John Jackson (Twann); brother, James "Jimmy" Collins (Regina); sister, Patty Hall; eleven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
