Bertha Christine Hyde, 78, of Nash County, passed away November 12, 2025. Born on April 18, 1947, she was the daughter of the late George Colbert Sr. and Katie Mizzelle Colbert.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Wyman-Parker (Walter); three brothers, Randy Colbert (Ann Marie) and Bruce Colbert, and Johnny Colbert (Dee); two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Lee S. Hyde Sr.; her son, Lee S. Hyde Jr.; her grandson, Frankie; her sister, Kay Nutter; and one brother, George Colbert Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Pastor Toby Easily officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
