Carolyn Poole Griffin, 82, passed away November 6, 2025. She was born in Wilson County June 24, 1943 to the late Walter and Lucille Poole. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by daughter Angel Griffin; sons Jimmy Grffin Jr. and Robert Griffin; granddaughter Danielle Fronefield; and sister Deborah Moore.

She is survived by her husband Jimmy Griffin; daughter Bridget Mills (Stephen); daughter-in-law Christina Griffin; five grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren ; brother Rudolph Poole (Linda); sisters Dot Turner, Lois Poole, Venise Skinner (Ricky).

A memorial service was held November 8, 2025 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Reverend Allen Mills officiating. Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to Sharpsburg Church of God, P.O. Box 99, Sharpsburg, NC 27878.
