CHARLES DANIEL DAVIS

Charles Daniel Davis, 86, of Nash County passed away October 29, 2025. He was born January 13, 1939, to the late Rodney Jefferson Davis and Louetta Brown Davis.

In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Doris Slate Davis; one son, David Davis; two brothers, Jimmy Davis and Archie Davis; one stepdaughter, Lynne Daniels Jenkins; daughter-in-law, Beth Luper Davis; two brothers-in-law, Selby Tedder and McRae Price.

Charles is survived by his wife of 31 years, Brenda Daniels Davis, two sons, Rodney Davis (Katrina Barnes) and Scott Davis (Robbie Davis); one stepson, Ike Daniels (Robin Champ); two granddaughters; one daughter-in-law, Lisa Davis Erdman; one sister, Rosa Mae Tedder; one brother, Alvin Davis (Ann); two sisters-in-law, Betty Price and Allie Davis, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral was held November 2, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Fowler officiating. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Wilson.
