Ricky Alan Skinner, age 69, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025. Born on August 31, 1956, in Bertie County, he was the son of the late Joseph and Julia Legett Skinner.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kelly Skinner; his son, Clayton Skinner and wife Rebekah; and his sister, Julie Batchelor.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 12-2 p.m. at the Battleboro Community Volunteer Fire Department. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and honor the life of a man who meant so much to so many.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Battleboro Community Volunteer Fire Department or Dortches Baptist Church.
