WILLOW SPRING - Aaron Lee Yates, 64, passed away on October 12, 2025.

Aaron, raised in Rocky Mount, was born in Lexington to Arnold and Emma Yates.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Yates, mother, Emma Yates.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Beverly Yates; sons, Justin (Rachel), Jeremy (Katy), Joshua (Shelby), and five grandchildren and two expected in 2026; brother, Tony (Brenda); uncles, aunts, cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, October 17 2025, from 6-8 p.m. at the Yates Family Home, 25 Veron Court Willow Spring and will also be received on Saturday, October 18 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Services,, Rocky Mount. All are invited to join the family for a graveside service in honor of Aaron on Saturday, October 18 at 12:10 p.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
