Matthew Lee Cheeseman, 37, born December 30, 1987, in Carteret County, passed away on September 29, 2025.

He is survived by his parents, Michael Cheeseman (Star) and Angela Kirk; his brother, Caleb Cash; and his three sisters, Kellie Glover (Charlie), Marilyn Cheeseman, and Alyssa Cheeseman; two stepbrothers, Michael Cheeseman (Jackie) and Bradley Cheeseman, and two stepsisters, Brittany Vaughn (Clint) and Jamie Kroll (Andrew).

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 4 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the service.
