Horace Clem Gardner, 88, passed away September 24, 2025. He was born in Nash County to the late James and Ruth Gardner. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Janet Gardner and several siblings.

He is survived by his sons Barry, Clem, and David Gardner; daughter Michelle; stepchildren Bobby, Joe, Tony Joyner and Pamela Hinton; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; several siblings.

A graveside service to celebrate Horace's life will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 11a.m. at the Wells Family Cemetery.
