FRANKLINTON - Funeral services for Walter B. Richardson, age 93, who died on September 15, 2025, were held on September 20, 2025 at the Shocco Chapel Baptist Church in Warrenton with Pastor Lennis Thorpe officiating. Burial followed in the Shocco Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

He is survived by two sons, Walter Richardson, Jr. (Olivia) of Clayton, NC and Ronnie Richardson of Raleigh, NC, four daughters, Joyce Perry (Claude) of Franklinton, NC, Judy Yarborough of Springfield, MA, Daphine Richardson of Wendell, NC, and Rosemary Beatty of Raleigh, NC, ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
