ROCKY MOUNT - Linny Dale Pridgen, age 63, passed away September 17, 2025. Born in Nash County on February 17, 1962, He was the son of the late Elma Lee Pridgen and Sarah "Daphine" Privette Pridgen. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Timothy Lee Pridgen, Anthony Miles Pridgen, and Barry Elmer Pridgen.

Linny is survived by his sister-in-law, Vickie Alford Pridgen; a nephew and niece.

A funeral service was held September 22, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Tim Dean officiating. Burial followed the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
