BAILEY - Phillip Earl Pearson, 78 of Bailey, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025.

Funeral services were held September, 16 at Joyner's Funeral Home. Interment followed at Bailey Cemetery. Pastors Jerry Nelson and Ricky Nelms will be officiated.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Edna Etheridge Pearson; sons, Allen Pearson of Plymouth, and Harold Pearson and his wife Laura of Greensboro; four grandchildren; sister, Cathy Gammon and her husband Ron of Kenly; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Robie and Vernell Mercer Pearson.
