LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Dorothy Ann Lassiter Spivey, age 75, who died on Monday, August 25, 2025, were held August 29, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Louisburg with Pastor John Hopkins, officiating. Burial followed in The Spivey Gardens.

She is survived by her husband, Albert J. Spivey of the home; two daughters, Denise Allen (James) and Flecia Fogg both of Louisburg; three sisters, Brenda Lynch and Elaine Hanzer both of Franklinton, and Angela Little (Roderick) of Wake Forest; two brothers, George Lassiter (Emma Louise) of Bunn and Min. Randy Lassiter (April) of Louisburg; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
