Mary Crudup passed away July 27, 2025 at age 89. She was born to Mary Ricks Deans and Alfred Deans on October 11, 1935 in Nashville.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Crudup; two sons Michael and Aldric; grandmother, Frances.

She is survived by four of her children, Sharon Crudup, Kendra Noble, both of Rocky Mount, Vernon Crudup (Marie) of Clayton, and Kelvin Crudup (Tammy) of Nashville; sisters, Cynthia Moore, Pearl Welton; brother, Alfred Deans Jr., (Barbara) of Nashville; ten grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren

A service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Bunn Chapel Baptist Church, Nashville. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
