ROCKY MOUNT - Timothy Fondren "Tim" Bartholomew, age 65, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025. Born in Halifax County on May 4, 1960, he was the son of the late Charles Spurgeon Bartholomew and Wynona Grace Savage Bartholomew.

Tim is survived by his wife, Teresa Jernigan Bartholomew; his daughter, Tara McDonald; his sister, Kristen Bartholomew Pridgen and husband, Ray; his sister-in-law, Donna Moses and husband, Tom; his niece and nephews.

A funeral service was held August 3, 2025, at Nashville Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. David Phillips and Rev. J. Kenneth Byrd, Jr. officiating. Burial followed the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
