SPRING HOPE - Willie Louis Mitchell, age 81, passed away July 16, 2025.

A service was held July 21, 2025 at Luther's Chapel Holiness Church in Castalia. Burial followed in the Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter, Elaine Bynum (David) of Atlanta, Ga.; sons, Calvin Louis Mitchell, Sr. of Spring Hope, and Eric Maurice Mitchell (Toshonda) of Nashville; one uncle; two brothers, Isaac Mitchell and Anthony Mitchell (MaryAnn); three sisters, Dorothine Hunter (David), Sandra Sharp ( William), Linda Mitchell; four brothers-in-law, John Alston (Pauline), Grover Alston, Bernard Alston, and Jesse Gupton; sister-in-law Mable Alston; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephew.
