ROCKY MOUNT - Robin Denise Strickland, age 64, passed away on June 18, 2025. Born in Nash County on July 12, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Charlie B. "Monkey" Strickland and Eunice Rachel Gardner Strickland. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Gerald and James Strickland.

Robin is survived by her sisters, Faye S. Perry and husband Rev. Larry and Vickie S. Carlyle and husband Eugene all of Spring Hope; several nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles.

A graveside service was held June 28, 2025 at Spring Hope Memorial Gardens with Pastor Larry Perry officiating.
