ROCKY MOUNT - Ray Tommy Bolin, age 80, passed away June 6, 2025. Born in Blacksburg, SC on December 21, 1944, he was the son of the late Junius Bolin and Clella Bolin. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Sandy Griffin; his son-in-law, Wayne Griffin; and his sister, Diane Bolin.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Paulette; his son, Allen Bolin and wife, Stephanie; four grandchildren; his siblings, JoAnn Lawson, Rachel Wright, Francis Black, Peggy Camp, and Woody Bolin; and many nieces and nephews.

A service will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 12 p.m. at Temperance Hall Church, Elm City with Rev. Mike Edmondson officiating. A visitation will be from 11 a.m to 11:45 a.m. prior to the service at Temperance Hall Church.
