NASHVILLE - Thomas Silas Debreaux (Scoot) was born on December 31, 1946 in Nash county to William Henry and Mary Lucille Debreaux. Thomas was one of fourteen children. He was preceded in death by one daughter Teresa Debro, one grandson Davelle Debro, his parents William Henry and Mary Lucille Debreaux, five sisters (Ora Lee Fisher, Flossie Mae Snow, Eula Mae Lewis, Mildred Evans and Millie Debro) and six brothers (William Henry Debro Jr, James Edward Debro, Arthur Debro, Thurman Debro, Robert Joseph Debro and Morris Debro).

He is survived by three daughters, Angela Carter of Nashville, Lucille Debro and Paula Wilds of Florence, SC; one son Phillip Evans of Nashville; two sisters, Ernestine Debro of Baltimore, MD, Josephine (Alvin) Whitehead of Nashville; two aunts; one uncle; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held at 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The service will follow at 1p.m. in the chapel.
