ELM CITY - Jennifer "J.J." Daughtridge Vaughan, age 53, passed away April 28, 2025. She was born in Edgecombe County on September 26, 1971 and was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Williams Daughtridge and father, John "J.W." Daughtridge.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Brian Vaughan; sons, Clay Vaughan and Noah Vaughan (Caroline Denton), all of Elm City; sister, Marilyn Coble (Tammy Spellman) of Raleigh;
