Crystal Gayle Hopkins Heggie passed away April 28, 2025, at the age of 47. She was born in Nash County on April 30, 1977, to the late John Thomas Hopkins and Joyce Ann Sullivan Hopkins.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Jon Heggie; her children, Ryan Lee Heggie and Stephanie Gayle Heggie; her sister, Rebecca Hopkins Gomez, and her nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. A visitation will follow the service.
