NASHVILLE - Funeral services for Joe Massenburg, age 89, who died on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 2 p.m. from the Pleasant Grove Refuge Center in Hollister with Pastor Linda Tayborn officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Kathelean Massenburg of the home; two daughters, Trudy Massenburg and Mabel Lean Richardson (Charles), both of Nashville; three sisters, Gloria Jean Silver of Hollister, Eve Winfield and Christine Allbritton, both of Norfolk, VA; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 4-5 p.m. at Rock Hill Baptist Church.
